The mother-of-one was accompanied by Themeli to Sydney‘s Rooty Hills for filming, and was seen catching up with crew members as she arrived.
Jessica opted for a stylish business casual ensemble, wearing a beige trench coat over a chic black tracksuit and a pair of white and grey sneakers.
The Australian Idol alumna shielded her blow dried locks from the wind with a tight pre-show bun, and accessorised her dressing room look with a pair of brown and gold shades, gold hoop earrings and a black leather business bag.Themeli, who has been with Jessica since they were 18-years-old, dropped Jessica and Mia off at her work, pulling the baby stroller out from the car while she got settled.
Two crew members, dressed in black and carrying black umbrellas, escorted Jessica and inside, with one man wheeling her suitcase while she pushed baby Mia in a black stroller covered with a soft beige blanket.
Baby Mia matched her stylish mum in a pair of beige booties and a tiny white sweater.
Jessica took to the Australian Idol stage on Monday night to perform a heartfelt ballad from her 2024 album Yours Forever, called I’m Sorry.
The performance marks her second time guest starring on the same reality TV show that catapulted her to national fame in 2006.
At 16, Jessica auditioned for the fourth season of Australian Idol in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. She sang Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” for judges Kyle Sandilands and Marcia Hines.
Her appearance on Monday night marks the countdown to the 2025 season Grand Finale of Australian Idol, with the final six hopefuls whittled down to a final three.
‘Jess congratulations on becoming a new mum to little baby Mia!’ host Ricky-Lee Coulter gushed to her colleague after her performance.
‘My goodness, a few months after having a baby and you’re back on stage! How is baby Mia and how is motherhood treating you?”She is honestly the most sweetest soul,’ she said, beaming with pride.
‘And honestly? I can’t ask for anything greater. I’ve been all around the world.
‘[I’ve] played music, played incredible stages, but she is the most incredible person I have ever met.
‘Motherhood is just sleepless nights. And that’s okay. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, honestly.’
Radio personality Kyle jumped in to jokingly ask whether Jessica wrote ‘I’m Sorry’ to her husband.
‘I think you wrote that song to your husband because motherhood is tough and dad always feels like the third wheel,’ he said.
‘You know what? It totally is that at the moment and we’re going through it. I’m glad that you mentioned that,’ she replied.
‘A lot of people break up in the first two years of parenthood!’ Kyle persisted, earning an eye roll from his fellow judge Amy Shark.
‘I hope not!’ Jessica said.
With new music and a newly launched beauty and skincare business both in the works, she added, ‘2025 is already shaping up to be the most epic year of my life.’
