Jamie Foxx had a lot to celebrate this year at the Golden Globes.
The actor, 57, shared a photo on his Instagram of himself with his two daughters — Anelise, 16, and Corinne, 30 — after the trio attended the award show together on Sunday, Jan. 5. In his caption, the proud dad took a moment to reflect on all he’s accomplished over the last year after his medical emergency that began on April 11, 2023, and the complications that followed.
“Me with my two beautiful daughters globetrotting at the @goldenglobes … a proud father daughter moment Anelise Estelle and @corinnefoxx so beautiful and fearless,” he wrote.When I was asked on the carpet, what do you think about the awards? I said I have already won to be here with my two girls. Standing upright. Standing with so much love. It’s not my award. It’s my reward. God is good and I think you know the rest. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.”

Foxx is dad to Anelise Bishop, whom he shares with his ex Kristin Grannis. He later confirmed he suffered a “brain bleed that led to a stroke” that occurred while he was filming his upcoming film with Cameron Diaz, Back in Action, in Atlanta.
In an Oct. 3 interview with Vogue, Corinne opened up about how “incredibly special” it was to have her dad attend the wedding following his health scare. “I walked down to a strings version of ‘Georgia On My Mind’ by Ray Charles,” she said.
“My dad won his Oscar for playing [Ray] in 2005. At 10 years old, I was his plus one and got to share that special moment with him,” the newlywed continued. “There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when we came down the aisle.
