Aussie Lady Gaga fans left outraged as they miss out on coveted seats at Mayhem Ball tour despite jumping in the queue HOURS before tickets went on sale

Australian fans of Lady Gaga were left outraged this week as they missed out on purchasing tickets to her highly anticipated Mayhem Ball tour Down Under.

Despite jumping into the online queue long before the seats went on sale, thousands of eager concert-goers were left empty handed when they were unable to secure their spots at any of the concerts.

Little Monsters the nation over took to Instagram and X to complain they were unable to buy tickets because of the sheer number of people who were also trying to get in early and purchase them. 400 people in the queue in-front, was in within minutes and couldn’t get a single GA ticket. That has to be a joke!’ one person said.

Another raged when an extra Sydney show was announced: ‘Brah I was 600 in the queue when it opened and both GA was already sold out and now this announcement after I’m timed out.’

‘I waited from 12pm on the dot. When it opened, 30,000 people in front of me in the queue. HOW?’ said another.Others took to X to voice their frustrations.

‘Well despite being very early in the queue and waiting all morning, I couldn’t get Lady Gaga tickets. I tried in the presales as well. The Ticketmaster website is so f***ing awful and buying tickets through their interactive map is terrible. I am so, so disappointed,’ one person fumed.

Another said they came close to missing out completely and blamed the queuing system on the ticketing website for the mishap.

‘WOO! Finally got tickets to see Lady Gaga in Brisbane. It was BULLS*** though. I got in the cue waaaay before my sister and ended up being like 7000th in cue. My sister joined late, got about 3500th in cue, so we used her account to get the tickets,’ they wrote.

One person shared a screenshot of themselves sitting in the online queue with more than 14,000 people in front of them.

‘What a joke… how the hell are you supposed to secure 2 tixs. Ticketing in Australia needs an overhaul. It’s all a God dam [sic] root,’ they captioned the picture.

’25 minutes in a queue to a sold old presale. Good job,’ said another.

‘Missed out on Brisbane tickets that disappeared in an instant. Cinderella going to the Ball no more,’ someone else moaned.  It’s not the first time fans of the US pop star, 39, were left in a rage while attempting to buy tickets to her long-awaited Australian tour this week.

The Poker Face hitmaker is headed Down Under for the first time in 11 years as part of her Mayhem Ball tour.

However, as the first presale kicked off on Monday, fans were left shocked and out of pocket when they saw the ticket prices for the anticipated shows.

Many angry fans claimed dynamic ticket pricing had sent the cost soaring.

Dynamic pricing means the price of tickets will rise or fall based on demand.

One fan, taking to X this week, shared screenshots of the ticketing page for one of Gaga’s Marvel Stadium shows in Melbourne

The screenshots show Mastercard and Vodafone standing room presale tickets going for a reasonable $204.80.

Another shot showed prices for seated tickets, which ranged from $539 to $649.Lady gaga #Melbourne Marvel stadium pricing,’ the fan wrote.

‘Dynamic pricing is on (ticket prices rise due to demand). Meaning cheapest ticket is around $300 for nosebleed seats. And a whopping 550/650 for mid to front seated in the stands. Rear floor 255,’ they continued.

Another shared a screenshot which showed ‘nosebleed’ seats going for almost $500.

‘No bloody way. I’m not paying that much for seats in the nosebleeds for Gaga. Bloody dynamic pricing.’

A third, chuffed they managed to secure tickets, added it was bittersweet due to the cost of the experience.

‘Won the lady gaga ticket war but at what cost (a big f*** you to dynamic pricing,’ they wrote.

However, a Ticketmaster spokesperson said in a statement that dynamic pricing was not used.

‘Ticketmaster does not have surge pricing or dynamic algorithms to adjust ticket prices,’ they said.

‘Tickets were priced in advance of the sale and set at the individual seat level.’

Speaking of the tour on Instagram, Lady Gaga revealed she ‘wasn’t planning’ on doing a world tour in 2025, but the ‘incredible response’ to her latest album Mayhem inspired her to take it to the international stage.

‘It came together super quickly thanks to Arthur Fogel and the amazing team at Live Nation, who planned a global tour in just a few weeks,’ she said.
