Beloved cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch has revealed her heartbreak after a terrifying A&E dash led to the discovery of a congenital condition affecting her young son.

The 35-year-old mum-of-two, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, shared the emotional news with her millions of followers, describing the moment her world “shattered” upon learning of her son’s diagnosis.
“Broken. That’s the only word I can use to describe how I feel,” Sophie wrote in a heartfelt Instagram story. “You never expect to hear something like this. Not about your child.”
The family was forced to rush their son to A&E after he displayed worrying symptoms. Doctors carried out several tests, which ultimately uncovered an underlying congenital condition that had gone unnoticed until now.
Mrs Hinch did not disclose the exact nature of the diagnosis, but described the past few weeks as “the most terrifying and emotionally exhausting” period of her life.
To make matters even more distressing, Sophie herself was rushed to hospital just weeks later for an emergency operation. Though she hasn’t shared details of her own condition, she confirmed that the procedure was successful and she is now recovering.
“This year has tested me in ways I never imagined,” she wrote. “But we keep going. For our children. For our family.”
Fans have flooded her social media with messages of love and support, applauding her bravery in sharing such a personal and painful experience.
Mrs Hinch rose to fame on Instagram for her home cleaning tips and warm personality, becoming a household name in the UK and beyond. Over the years, she has built a loyal following who have supported her through every high and low.
As she focuses on her family and recovery, Sophie has asked for privacy and continued prayers.
“Our little boy is strong,” she added. “And we’re going to get through this — together.”
